Dr. Patricia Hynes, Director of the New Mexico Space Grant Consortium, will be the featured speaker at the October MVEDA “Business in the Borderplex” Forum. The forum will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2012 from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM at the Hotel Encanto de Las Cruces, 705 S. Telshor. The meeting will begin with a hot entree buffet followed by a brief update from MVEDA staff.
The New Mexico Space Grant Consortium (NMSGC) is a member of the congressionally funded National Space Grant College and Fellowship Program which is administered by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Each year NMSGC sponsors the Student Launch Program at Spaceport America and hosts the annual International Symposium for Personal and Commercial Spaceflight (ISPCS) here in Las Cruces.
Advance registration is $20.00 per person, payable by major credit card via the secure PayPal portal on the registration form. Payment at the door with cash, check or credit card is $25.00 per person. Due to space constraints reservations are required. Registration closes Friday, September 27th.
