Marron & Associates Opens Office in Arrowhead Center Technology Incubator

New Mexico State University's economic development hub, the Arrowhead Center, is welcoming a new tenant from the north that demonstrates the growing importance of southern New Mexico. The Albuquerque-based environmental science and planning firm, Marron and Associates, opened a satellite office in Las Cruces at Arrowhead's technology incubator on the NMSU campus earlier this year. Governor Martinez Announces Expansion, New Jobs from Two Santa Teresa Companies

Today, Governor Susana Martinez announced the creation of 40 new jobs in Santa Teresa while participating in a ribbon cutting ceremony for Santa Teresa Southern Railroad’s new intermodal terminal. Santa Teresa Southern Railroad, which hosted the event, installed 2.5 miles of new track adjacent to the Union Pacific track and constructed a new terminal. Southwest Steel Coil Inc. is expanding its plant by more than 45 percent as it awaits its second major new piece of equipment this year.
