New Mexico's top economic development official is heading to El Paso to take the reins of the Borderplex Alliance, the almost 4-year-old regional economic development organization. The Mesilla Valley Economic Development Alliance (MVEDA) announced its FY ’16 success in meeting its annual goals during the July 5th Business in the Borderplex Forum. On Thursday, June 9th, Governor Susana Martinez announced that Pecan Brewery in Las Cruces will expand its operations to begin bottling and exporting their beer across the world. MCS Frames Inaugurates New Distribution Center in Santa Teresa, New Mexico

On May 19, MCS Frames, the nation's largest picture frame and decorative mirror manufacturer, inaugurated its new 215,000-square-foot distribution center on 14 acres in Santa Teresa's West Park.
