On Tuesday, September 5, 2017, the Mesilla Valley Economic Development Alliance (MVEDA) released its Annual Report for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2017. The report was distributed at the monthly Business in the Borderplex luncheon held at the Hotel Encanto de Las Cruces and mailed to all MVEDA Partners the following day.
The report details MVEDA’s success in business development. Five-year highlights include:
- 2,519 new economic-based jobs created;
- $254.6M in new capital investment;
- $76.7M in new payroll: and
- $73.9M in new household spending.
