The May meeting of the MVEDA Business in the NM Borderplex Forum will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM at the Hotel Encanto de Las Cruces, 705 S. Telshor. The meeting will feature a panel of commercial real estate professionals discussing some of the strategic commercial real estate developments and the factors that may impact future development. Speakers include Scott Eschenbrenner of Aggie Development, Wayne Savage of the Arrowhead Research Park, and Jake Redfearn of NAI 1st Valley Real Estate. The meeting will begin with a hot entrée buffet.
Advance registration is $25.00 per person, payable by major credit card via the secure PayPal portal on the registration form. Payment at the door with cash, check or credit card is $30.00 per person. Due to space constraints reservations are required. Registration closes Thursday, May 2, 2019.
About the Speakers
Scott Eschenbrenner serves as the President and CEO of New Mexico State University’s Aggie Development Incorporated. He also serves as Special Assistant to the President. Aggie Development was created in 2014 as a 501(c3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization to manage the university’s real estate and water assets. It also works to foster new public-private partnerships to benefit both the university and the surrounding community. Eschenbrenner’s primary responsibilities are the oversight, management and development of the university real estate and water assets
Wayne Savage is the Executive Director of the Arrowhead Research Park, a 200-acre real estate development at New Mexico State University. With anchor tenants such as the Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine, General Dynamics, Peraton, Vista Photonics, and the NM Spaceport Authority, the Park is focused on positively impacting economic metrics for Las Cruces and southern New Mexico in the life science, aerospace, media, and ag-tech industry sectors.
Jake Redfearn is a Principal at NAI 1st Valley Real Estate. He has been involved in transactions that include CVS, US Bank, Church’s Chicken, Sonic, Dunkin Donuts, Denny’s, Sprouts, KFC, Starbucks, Top Golf, Crunch Fitness, and many others. Currently he chairs the Board of Directors of the Greater Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce and sits on the Board of Directors of MVEDA, and the NAI Retail Council.
