OPEN TO DACC STUDENTS, LOCAL BUSINESSES AND THE PUBLIC
Doña Ana Community College (DACC) Career Services is partnering with New Mexico Workforce Connection, Mesilla Valley Economic Development Alliance (MVEDA), and the Las Cruces Hispanic Chamber of Commerce to bring a “Job to Career Readiness Boot Camp” and JOBEXPO 2015 to the entire Doña Ana County community.
Local residents and students will have an opportunity to register for the “Job to Career Readiness Boot Camp” focusing on job fair preparation from 8:30 – 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2015. This boot camp is intended to provide candidates with tips on what to do before, during, and after a Job Expo. All participants have the opportunity to gain additional knowledge and skills by taking a Prove IT! Assessment, getting basic grooming techniques, and receiving tips on how to improve their résumé.

Local companies will have great opportunity to recruit candidates from DACC and the entire Doña Ana County community during JOBEXPO 2015! This event is scheduled from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. following the “Job to Career Readiness Boot Camp” and will be a great opportunity to recruit candidates from DACC and the entire Doña Ana County community.
Businesses may register for JOBEXPO 2015 by completing and submitting the attached registration form by March 14. Registration is FREE and provides your business with one table and two chairs for two representatives. Once you have registered, a confirmation will be emailed to you. Reservations will be handled on a space availability basis only.
