The June High Tech Consortium (HTC) of Southern New Mexico membership meeting will be on Friday, June 21, 2013 at the Hotel Encanto de Las Cruces, 705 S. Telshor from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
This month’s speaker will be Mr. Jerry Pacheco, a long time trade consultant and currently the executive director of the International Business Accelerator at Santa Teresa. Jerry will discuss the Union Pacific expansion and the associated economic transformation (new companies arriving and expansion of existing companies) that could make the port of Santa Teresa one of the biggest centers along the Southwest border with Mexico. Jerry will also address the implications for technology growth in the area.
