The March High Tech Consortium (HTC) of Southern New Mexico membership meeting will be on Friday, March 18, 2016 from 4 PM to 5:30 PM at the Sonoma Ranch Golf Course Banquet Room. This month’s speaker will be Mr. Jerry Pacheco, a long time trade consultant and currently the executive director of the International Business Accelerator at Santa Teresa. Jerry will discuss the Union Pacific expansion and the associated economic transformation (new companies arriving and expansion of existing companies) that are making the port of Santa Teresa one of the biggest logistic centers along the Southwest border with Mexico. Jerry will also address the implications for technology growth in the area.
HTC membership meetings are open to the public. Anyone interested in growing technology in southern New Mexico is encouraged to attend. The price for meeting attendance (no meal) is $5 and meeting attendance with meal is $20.00 – check or cash preferred.
