The June High Tech Consortium (HTC) of Southern New Mexico membership meeting will be on Friday, June 17, 2016 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM (note new time) at the Sonoma Ranch Golf Course Banquet Room. Dr. Griselda Martinez. She oversees NMSU’s role in the New Mexico Small Business (NSMBA) Program, in partnership with Los Alamos and Sandia National Laboratories. She leads efforts towards providing both business and technical assistance to a wide variety of businesses in the region, the state of New Mexico and in Mexico, including Spanish- speaking business. As an entrepreneurial and community coach, Griselda is also in charge of the creation and implementation of programs for entrepreneurial education and ecosystem enhancement for Spanish-speaking national and international communities. She holds a doctorate degree in Economic Development from NMSU, with an area of specialization in Regional Economic Development. She holds a master’s degree is in Public Administration and bachelor’s degree in Economics and International Business from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). Dr. Martinez is also the current president of one of the four Toastmasters clubs in chartered in Las Cruces.
HTC membership meetings are open to the public. Anyone interested in growing technology in southern New Mexico is encouraged to attend. The price for meeting attendance (no meal) is $5 and meeting attendance with meal is $20.00 – check or cash preferred.
