WHY ASIA?

Connect to a World of Opportunity in Asia

Trade Winds Asia will take place in Singapore, a country with a sophisticated and modern economy that offers excellent opportunities for U.S. firms interested in penetrating the Asian market. IMPORTANT NOTICE:

The State of New Mexico Economic Development Department is the only administrator of SBA STEP Grant funds that makes direct payments to the US Department of Commerce for the matchmaking arrangements on behalf of its companies.

All other state governments require their companies to submit payment with the application and apply for reimbursement after the event is over. This guarantees that the company will indeed participate in the event or trade mission.

Regrettably some New Mexico companies have cancelled their participation in an event after all the appointments and meetings have been arranged. THIS RESULTS IN A NET LOSS OF FUNDS SINCE ONCE THE SERVICES HAVE BEEN PROVIDED ON BEHALF OF THE COMPANY THEY MUST BE PAID FOR IN SPITE OF ANY LAST MINUTE CANCELLATIONS.

Please do not apply if you do not have a firm intention to invest in your own international marketing success. The Economic Development Department is committed to helping New Mexico companies succeed internationally. We would prefer to work only with those companies that share this commitment.
